Do I need insurance?
No! That’s one of the biggest benefits of this service. SleepScriptMD operates outside of insurance, making it simple and hassle-free. Plus, in most cases, the medications we prescribe are very affordable at your local pharmacy.
How much does it cost to use SleepScriptMD?
AI Path (Asynchronous Care)
- $45 for 30 days OR $120 for 90 days – Covers the provider’s assessment and prescription approval (medication cost at your pharmacy not included).
- Easy refills – Pay $45/month or $120 for 3 months to renew your prescription.

Are there additional fees for virtual appointments?
Included in the intake appointment fee is a 30 day prescription of your new medication (if one is offered). If you need a 90 day prescription then there is an add-on fee of $75 to make up the difference of our 30 vs 90 day prescription costs.
Does SleepScriptMD accept insurance for its services?
No, SleepScriptMD is a self-pay service, and we do not bill insurance for our fees. All costs for asynchronous care and virtual visits must be paid out-of-pocket. However, you may be able to submit invoices for virtual visits to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement, depending on your plan.
Will my insurance cover the cost of my medication?
Medication costs are separate, entirely out of our control, and must be paid directly at your pharmacy. While many insurance plans may cover some or all of the cost, we cannot guarantee coverage and are not responsible for whether your insurance pays for it. However, most of the medications we prescribe are generic and commonly covered by insurance. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm coverage for any prescribed medications.
