At SleepScriptMD, our story begins with a shared vision for accessible, high-quality healthcare. Dr. David Danish , double board certified across child/adolescent and adult psychiatry, and Dr. Peter Kelly , a family medicine specialist, first crossed paths during their studies at The Harvard Extension School, Harvard’s post-baccalaureate program for premed students. This early collaboration laid the foundation for a partnership rooted in innovation and patient-centered care.
Through their individual practices, Dr. Danish and Dr. Kelly saw a critical need for effective, affordable solutions to improve sleep health solutions that are safe, non-addictive, and delivered with expertise. Drawing on their complementary skill sets, they co-founded SleepScriptMD to bridge this gap. Their combined backgrounds in psychiatry and family medicine ensure a comprehensive approach to care, blending deep expertise in mental health, physical health, and safe prescribing practices.
Dr. David Danish is a double board-certified psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience and more than 100,000 patient encounters across diverse psychiatric settings, including inpatient hospitals, crisis centers, rehabilitation facilities, and outpatient care.

Dr. Peter Kelly is a Board Certified Physician and has been practicing Family Medicine for over 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN and the University of New England School of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME.
